Yep, your password is likely the weakest link in the ocean of internet security. Good passwords are not relatable and most people will just pick a word or two that is easily guessable or able to be engineered, and then add a few numbers to the end, or beginning and call it good. It is not ok..Password related news stories and blah blah blah..passCake aims to solve that. You just input that simple one or two words you are likely using and wiz-bang, various useful digests of that input are available for all your security needs! Just tap one and its copied to clipboard and read to paste into your log in prompt.Or, you can hold down the output and select "push to input" and digest the digest!
Some websites limit the maximum length of the password so naturally there is a slider to select the length.
If your more adventurous you can manipulate the capitalization of letters with number wheel on the right.
The Substitution: will replace all occurrences of whatever letter or number with the dropdown selection(all printable characters), adding a massive amount of entropy.The QR code: In some cases you might want to share your password, consider WIFI passwords for example. Send your awesome password over to your friends and avoid the annoying suggestions to use a bad WIFI password!
The Scrambler: will splatter out random characters. Or if you type text first, it will mix the text when u swipe the blocks, and count the iterations of mixing, providing you with a different way to generate a nifty password from root text.
